Research Experience

Research Assistant — Department of Economics, Sciences Po (Apr 2025 – Sept 2025)

  • Designed and executed causal-inference analyses using staggered Difference-in-Differences and event-study models in R to estimate the impact of forest-protection policies on climate-relevant outcomes.
  • Constructed a structured, subnational policy database for Africa from systematic literature reviews, government documents, and NGO publications.
  • Managed and processed large-scale geospatial datasets (WDPA, satellite-derived tree-cover loss).
  • Performed geospatial mapping and georeferencing of policy locations across African countries.

Research & Teaching Assistant — Department of Economics, KNUST (Nov 2023 – Aug 2024)

  • Coordinated household-survey fieldwork for a willingness-to-pay study (enumerator supervision, respondent tracking, quality checks).
  • Cleaned and merged primary survey data with the Ghana Living Standards Survey (GLSS) for microeconometric analysis in Stata.
  • Collected firm-level data on commercial water use and combined field surveys with municipal administrative records.
  • Led tutorial sessions in Mathematics for Economists and supported assessment through grading and feedback.
  • Conducted systematic literature reviews and coordinated weekly departmental research seminars.

Research Assistant — Kumasi Hive, Kumasi (Oct 2022 – Dec 2022)

  • Developed and fielded research questionnaires producing a clean dataset of 100 observations.
  • Performed data cleaning and quality checks for econometric analysis.
  • Built a reporting framework to track key performance indicators.

  • Taught Senior High Level Economics; designed customised lesson plans; monitored progress through regular assessments.
